If it sounds good with them, I will be amazed, but I am concerned about the wattage. The only one of my amps I "haven't" used with yet them is my old 30 watt SS Marshall amp. I also tried them with my TSA15H head, and ditto. The appointment recognizes Lucinda’s consistent creativity and excellence in providing a wide range of investment products and wealth management services to her clients. My little 2 watt Greta also sounds huge (and loud!) with just one of the 2x10's connected to it! Morgan Stanley announced today that Mrs Lucinda M Bain, a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor in its Wealth Management office in the Greater Burlington area has been named to the Firm’s prestigious Century Club, an elite group composed of the firm’s top Financial Advisors. The Bassbreaker 15 sounds great on its own with it's 12" V Type, but run it through 4 10's it sounds truly huge, and awesome! I don't think I will be doing any "upgrades" on these sleeper speaker cabs. I really had NO idea at all what a nice set of vintage, sweet sounding speakers I was getting at all! I just couldn't pass up two really decent looking 2x10 cabs for just $50! I bought the cabs thinking the speakers would be crap or blown and would have to be replaced. I can't really ask for more from drivers that basically cost me nothing. So I can confirm that there is no farting or ice picks to the ears. Even checking the speakers individually gave me wild numbers. When I get home I will try and post a picture of the wiring. Possible your cabs are PA cabs Can you open the back to check the wiring I'm almost positive they are PA speakers. Mostly I remember Kasino as a PA supplier. They look like they weren't really used too much. Kasino was the budget brand of Kustom in the '60s. I'm a bit shallow that way.).Īnd the cones and surrounds look really nice, with no noticeable damage or dry rot of any kind. I was worried about ice pick treble with those (and hate to admit that I just don't like the way metal dust caps look. I pulled one pair out of the cabs to look at the condition of the cones, and they don't have the metal dust caps like I assumed. They handled it very nicely, with no farting out or anything. I've already tried the CTS with my Bassbreaker and some distortion and you are quite right.
